Tasmanian Heritage Deep Blue is an indulgent blue cheese with a rich and robust character. The well established blue veins create a slightly crumbly and creamy texture that offers a gently sweet yet acidic taste profile. Suggested Accompaniment:

Tasmanian Heritage Deep Blue can be enjoyed with glacé figs, truffle honey, walnuts, fresh dates, fresh pear, peaches or fine slivers of apple, accompanied with oaten biscuits, or fresh or toasted crusty bread or fruit bread (such as fig and aniseed).

General Serving/ Storage comments:

To allow for optimal flavour and enjoyment, it is recommended that the cheese is removed from the fridge 60 minutes before serving. This time may vary depending on the temperature and humidity of the day. Once opened, wrap any remaining cheese in the original packaging to maintain optimum quality.  Always serve cheese when it is most ripe (ie. as close to its best before date as possible) to ensure a full flavour and optimum taste. If the cheese is unripe, it should be left in the refrigerator to mature.
