A bit of Blue with Truffle Honey & Figs


  • 125g wedge Tasmanian Heritage Blue Opal cheese
  • 4 ripe fresh figs, cut in half
  • Truffle honey or lavender honey, for drizzling
  • Sliced ciabatta or crusty bread, for serving
  • Dessert wine, for serving


  1. Remove the cheese from the refrigerator 30 minutes-one hour prior to serving so it comes to room temperature.
  2. Carefully cut the cheese into four slices and place onto individual serving plates.
  3. Drizzle each slice of cheese with a teaspoon of honey and serve immediately with figs, crusty bread and a sticky dessert wine.
