Tasmanian Heritage Signature Camembert

Ingredients
200g Tasmanian Heritage Signature Camembert
6 eggs
300ml cream
50g chorizo, sliced
20g mushroom

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
  2. Slice Signature Camembert into wedges and set aside. 
  3. Whisk together the eggs, cream and black pepper to taste until well combined. 
  4. Lightly grease 4 shallow ovenproof ramekins. 
  5. Arrange the Chorizo, mushroom and Signature Camembert decoratively inside (reserving a few wedges of cheese to top the frittata). 
  6. Gently pour the prepared egg mixture over the Chorizo, mushroom and cheese (do not overfill). 
  7. Top the frittata with the remaining wedges of Camembert. 
  8. Place ramekins on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes or until firm and golden. 
  9. Serve warm with fresh crusty French bread.

 Tip - Raclette or Brie may be used in place of Camembert.
