Tasmanian Heritage Signature Camembert is an internationally renowned cheese that offers a distinctive and classic mild earthy aroma and an intensely rich creamy centre. Upon maturation this camembert will become smooth and creamy with a soft, shiny interior revealing light mushroom flavours. Although somewhat milder with a texture a little firmer than a brie, this remains a unique and delicate soft white cheese which was voted the World’s Best Camembert at the 2006 International Cheese Championship in Wisconsin, USA.

Tasmanian Heritage Signature Camembert is perfect on any cheese board, accompanied with a crusty baguette or water crackers along with fresh fruit, such as figs and grapes, poached pear or rhubarb paste. Alternatively, add it to sandwiches or include in recipes to give a gourmet touch.
General Serving/ Storage comments:
To allow for optimal flavour and enjoyment, it is recommended that the cheese is removed from the fridge 60 minutes before serving. This time may vary depending on the temperature and humidity of the day. Once opened, wrap any remaining cheese in the original packaging to maintain optimum quality. Always serve cheese when it is most ripe (ie. as close to its best before date as possible) to ensure a full flavour and optimum taste. If the cheese is unripe, it should be left in the refrigerator to mature.
